  1. We should all strive to buy products made in the USA because every time we buy a product made somewhere else we are taking away jobs in the USA. I would much rather spend money in my country that is going to stay in my country and help my people.

    1. It's not always easy, but it's well worth the effort. Although, I have to add Canada to this, as there are many really good companies in Canada that I support!

  3. Buying US products is important because we need to keep as many people as possible working.

    1. We've lost so many jobs to foreign outsourcing. I believe companies will start to take notice when we stop buying from them when they do that. We have to let them know that their choice is unacceptable to us.

  4. I feel it's important to support Americans & to keep as many of us in the US employed. So many things made in China have come back with lead recalls & such.

  5. I like to know that my money is supporting families and I feel that buying from small American companies does that. I buy Canadian as well, but Usually from WAHMs

  6. Because the US pays their workers more.
In China they're paying them just pennies per hour. Here they get at least a minimum wage!

  7. It is important because it keeps US money in the US and supports our own economies!

  8. I like supporting Americans and products made in the USA are generally much better quality than those made in China.

    1. Quality is a real issue. When we pay more, something generally lasts longer, so it's a wise choice for the environment as well!

  10. It keeps the jobs local for our men and women. I also hate when they use and abuse workers in other countries and barely pay them.

  11. I like to know that I am supporting fellow Americans, which also helps myself because it's helping the economy, and I get quality products.

  12. because we should support our own first...our country is a larger family...we would try and support our own family before supporting another and the same should be said for our countrymen...

  14. It's important to me because I know our work laws are a lot more strict than in other countries. Honestly, I don't care about providing jobs for our own or influencing our own economy (I mean, heck, I'm entering giveaways and getting these products free potentially - I'm not going to lie and act like I'm all about buying local in order to save jobs. Let's face it, the people overseas are struggling with jobs and their economies are struggling, too). I do know, though, that a lot of people overseas are working in terribly conditions. Kids are working, people are working long hours without breaks, and a lot of the jobs are truly dangerous. If I support local companies instead, I'm one less person buying from these companies putting their workers in danger. If everyone did that, they'd have to change their practices overseas and more people in our world would live happier, healthier lives.

  17. I buy USA made because it keeps the money here in our country instead of supporting other countries (or it's SUPPOSED to work that way...but just look at our "American" car manufacturers!). We need to take care of our own before helping other countries!

    1. For the most part, I agree with you, Krystal. But then I look at all the unsafe ingredients that are allowed in our products, but aren't allowed in other countries, so I begin to question that. I guess it depends on what you're buying.
