Define "healthy" on food labels. The FDA wants your input.

The FDA is looking to redefine the word "healthy" on food labeling and they want your input! Here's your chance to let the FDA know what you want food that's labeled "healthy."

"FDA is issuing a guidance document (Guidance for Industry: Use of the Term "Healthy" in the Labeling of Human Food Products) stating that FDA does not intend to enforce the regulatory requirements for products that use the term if certain criteria described in the guidance document are met."

The comment period for the Request for Information and the Guidance for Industry starts on September 28, 2016.
