The celebration continues...
Another perfect way is to remind you of the giveaway that is happening right now on Green Grandma!! I will use Random.org to choose one lucky winner on Thursday evening. You have until 5 p.m. EST to enter the contest.
Qualify to win this amazing prize package by visiting each of the participating companies' websites and letting me know (via comments on the blog or on Facebook) what your favorite products are on each. Think about it as virtual window shopping...and then pass the list on to your loved ones for future gift buying. Oh, and if you're not already a follower of the blog and a "liker" on FB, sign up so you can qualify. If you don't have a Facebook page, but you're a follower here, just let me know when you post your comment and you'll be entered as well. Twitter followers earn extra entries by retweeting the giveaway posts as well.
I numbered the websites so you can just post your favorite items behind each number. Simple enough. I think you'll enjoy perusing the sites.
1. Angel Baby Kit from Earth Mama Angel Baby.
2. Signed Peacock Print from Petite Paintbrush.
3. Lemongrass Soap (3.5 oz.) and Vanilla Lavender Body Oil (2 oz.) from As I Am Naturals.
4. Organic cotton onesie (0-6 mos.) and Bamboo pants (0-3 mos.) from Green Baby Clothing Company.
5. 100% Pure Lipgloss from Leaf & Bud Naturals.
6. Bubble Bar and 5 Bath Bombs from Lush, located in South Hills Village in Pittsburgh, PA.
During the week, I will fill you in on more about these great prizes...like the adorable peacock print from Petite Paintbrush. The talented artist, Jill, teaches art to children and creates artwork perfectly suited for nurseries, kids' rooms and playrooms. These paintings and prints would brighten up church nurseries or daycare centers as well.
My daughter, Bethany, who is due to have her first baby on Labor Day, just finished preparing her nursery for Lincoln's arrival. Well, actually, her husband and my daughter, Jess, finished preparing the nursery, but that's a different story...
After the wall was torn down and replaced, the pocket door was installed, the room was painted and the furniture was assembled, it was time to decorate (that's where Bethany came in). Jill's Sammy the Squirrel blended in nicely with the woodland theme of the room. As an added perk, Jill framed Bethany's print in a wooden frame that matched the nursery furniture perfectly! I'm pretty sure Sammy will be a favorite of Lincoln's as he grows up.
My personal favorite painting of Jill's is Pete the Peacock...the very print pictured above. I wish I could enter the giveaway!
So my suggestion is that you start your virtual window shopping...this whimsical peacock could be gracing your walls before you know it!
Have a good week,
