Making Health Happen with Hyland's!

DISCLAIMER: I am a Hyland's Homeopathy HealthMaker. As a HealthMaker, I receive various products and gift cards from Hyland's and its promotional partners at no cost to me. Ahhh, Hyland's. How oft I have reached for you in times of need. And you deliver. Time and time again.

As a Type 2 diabetic, there are certain prescription drugs I have to take in order to stay healthy. But other than that, I try to avoid both prescription drugs and OTC drugs as much as possible. So what do I do when I get a migraine? Or wake up with leg cramps? Or can't quiet my thoughts so I can sleep? Oh, and let's not even mention the diarrhea I have as a side effect to one of my diabetes drugs. Hyland's. Hyland's. Hyland's. Seriously. Hyland's.

For years, I've depended on Hyland's Homeopathic to solve a myriad of health issues. That's why I was beyond thrilled when I was invited to become a Hyland's HealthMaker. Oh yeah. It's never been a problem for me to sing the praises of Hyland's on this blog. I've been doing it since the beginning in 2009.

Just this morning on my Facebook memories, this post came up from March 2, 2014:

A spider bite yesterday had really nasty effects. The pain and swelling in my hand went all the way up to my elbow. Even holding a fork caused crazy pain. Finally took some Hyland's Homeopathic hives formula and the swelling subsided. ER visit averted.

What would most people do following a spider bite? Reach for the Benadryl, I suppose. But with a cupboard stocked with Hyland's products, I don't have to ingest things full of ingredients I don't want in my body. When homeopathic remedies work, why opt for something else? At least, that's my experience.

When I had a severe allergic reaction to too much niacin several years ago, Hyland's Hives took the itching and facial swelling down within 5 minutes.

After a lifetime of nighttime leg cramps, I learned long ago to keep a bottle of Hyland's leg cramp tablets beside my bed. And I always take them with me when traveling. Just in case.

In December, after accepting a position as manager of Dignity Home Care Professionals in Pittsburgh, I was faced with many sleepless nights as my thoughts just wouldn't leave the office. But then I started taking Hyland's Calm Forte and --presto! -- blessed sleep descended upon me.

I could go on and on. Really I could. But I think by now you get the picture. I'm thrilled to be chosen as a Hyland's HealthMaker because I've been Making Health Happen with Hyland's for years. And I plan to continue doing so for years to come.

Hyland's is anxious to hear how you are making health happen in your life. Check out their contest and you just might win $150 worth of products!

Sharing my pathway to healthier living,

P.S. I use Hyland's Phosphorus or Sulfur for that other problem I mentioned. You know, that dreaded "D" word.

Tiny treasures -- dressing up the Hyland's

Disclaimer: I am a Hylands Homeopathy Ambassador and receive various products and gift cards from Hyland's and promotional partners at no cost to me. Ahhh. The comfort contained in this little ceramic box. Isn't it pretty? My husband bought it at a Hallmark store back in May and gave it to me for my birthday. It's small (less than 3" wide) and at first I didn't know what to use it for. Then it dawned on me as I looked at my Hyland's bottle of Leg Cramp tabs sitting by my bed. While the bottle is not ugly, it's also not decorative. Yet, I nearly panic during the night if I reach for it and it's not there!

You see, as I've told you before, I am a lifelong sufferer of leg and foot cramps and Hyland's provides my must-have remedy. Seriously. I need my Hyland's Leg Cramp tablets.

That's where this handy dandy little box comes in. I simply filled it with the dissolve-under-your-tongue-no-water-needed tablets, put in on my bedside table, and my bedroom is instantly transformed into something out of House Beautiful. Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but I must say I like the look a bit better. Same great product. Different look. Now it's disguised as the treasure it really is.

But this morning, I opened the box and this is what I saw:

GASP!! There are only four tablets left! This will not do! So, remembering my basket of Hyland's goodies I have in my cabinet, I pulled it out and there among the other products they've sent me as an ambassador, were the Leg Cramps tablets you swallow with water, and . . . dissolvable Leg Cramps PM tablets. I don't know how I missed these! Not only will my middle-of-the-night cramps quickly subside, but I'll fall back to sleep soundly, too. The best of both worlds. Move over, little tablets that have been my relief for years. I'm upgrading to something better.

Bring on the cramps! My box is full and I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep!

P.S. You ought to check out the new Hyland's website and the fun videos and pictures. Just looking at them will make you smile, sending those endorphins to work at making you feel better all over!

Win a bunch of goodies from Hyland's!

I love Hyland's Homeopathic products, don't you? When they contacted me recently and asked me to be a Hyland's Ambassador, I didn't hesitate with my answer. After all, I love to promote products and companies I believe in. And guess what? One of you is going to benefit from my decision to join the team. Why? Because I am hosting the "I Am the Voice of Hyland's" giveaway, and let me tell you, it's awesome!

I Am the Voice of Hyland's Prize Package

Here's what you can win:

Hyland's Baby Vitamin C Tablets
Hyland's Baby Tiny Cold Tablets
Hyland's Cold n' Cough 4 Kids
Hyland's Complete Allergy 4 Kids
Hyland's Calms Forte
Hyland's Leg Cramps
Hyland's DEFEND Sinus
Hyland's DEFEND Cold & Cough
Hyland's Muscle Therapy Gel with Arnica

Approximate retail value of $80!

My personal experience with Hyland's started with their amazing Leg Cramps tablets. I have suffered from leg and foot cramps since I was a child. I used to do water ballet and inevitably, while I was floating in formation with my long skinny leg extended skyward, my toes would cramp. Not good. As an actress in my teens and twenties, my biggest fear on stage was not that I would forget my lines, blocking or choreography. It was that I would get a cramp in my foot... especially in freeze scenes. I wish I'd known about Hyland's back then! They have one more product for leg cramps I recently found out about but have not tried. It's the Leg Cramp Ointment, which I'm sure would be incredibly helpful in addition to the tablets for times when my cramping is recurrent. Because Hyland's makes it, I'm confident it would be effective.

Since discovering the Leg Cramps tablets, I have found the answer. Yes, I still get the cramps, but now I just reach for my bottle of Hyland's next to my bed and I know I'll be okay in just a few minutes. I never travel without them, for fear of having an episode and not having my "fix" on hand.

As you can see, the wonderful Leg Cramps tablets are part of the prize package, so if you win, you can try them out for yourself.

As for the rest of the basket, don't you think it's awesome? Especially given the approaching fall season. Being able to arm your family with safe and natural cold and allergy remedies, along with some Muscle Therapy Gel for those aches and pains that follow a hearty leaf-raking session, is just what the doctor ordered... at least the homeopathic doctor, that is!

"Will you be a Hyland's ambassador?"

"Of course, I will!"
