Being a close part of our sister's li...Me too! Being a close part of our sister's life all these years taught all of us many things, not the least of which was to count our blessings. We struggled at times to figure some things out, but I have most definitely found myself doing the same thing as a parent and now a grandmother. Respecting the Down's differences and limitations is paramount, but so it is with every child. Joy's words prove her to be a wonderful mother. Josh is truly blessed! My father's reply silenced everyone. He spoke with authority, conviction, and love. "No, she's not going to an institution.
