What could be better than something Made in the USA that's also Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified? A whole bunch of products that are! How cool is that?
I've had the pleasure of trying out a lot of these products for myself and I can't tell you how good it feels to know what I'm putting on and in my body is safe and free of GMOs.
Technically, all that is needed to guarantee the absence of genetically modified organisms is organic labeling such as, "100% Organic," "Organic," or "Made with Organic Ingredients." However, there's a certain comfort in knowing that an independent organization has also verified the lack of GMOs. They're just so pervasive in our products these days, that it's nice to see that bright bold verification right on the outside of a box!
Not a nursing mama? That's okay. You'll still love it. Just because it says "Nipple Butter" on the jar, it doesn't mean this creamy goodness can't be used anywhere else. As a matter of fact, my husband loves using it to soothe his face after shaving.
Same with the teas that are part of this package. I love drinking them for a variety of reasons. Keep in mind, I'm not pregnant, nursing or even getting my period anymore (hallelujah!). But I find the Organic Milkmaid Tea soothing to my occasion bouts with IBS. The Organic Monthly Comfort Tea and Organic Peaceful Mama Tea sooth jangled nerves. The Organic Morning Wellness Tea is perfect when I'm feeling a bit nauseous. Too much spicy food? I just reach for the Organic Heartburn Tea. While I've not found a specific purpose for the Organic No More Milk Tea (My milk dried up nearly 30 years ago!), I do reach for the Organic Third Trimester Tea on days when I simply feel bloated and fat. I sip on it and think, "Hey, at least I'm not pregnant!" That would not be a pretty sight at my age. Trust me.

DeleteI honestly don't always look. But I am trying to be less wasteful and more open minded to buying locally and fresh/eco-friendly. Since starting cloth diapers, it's like a whole new world and my eyes are opened.

DeleteMost of the time I do. I definitely prefer to buy made in the US items wherever possible with the exceptions of some Canadian cloth diapers and boots, and some 'treats' from the UK or Germany.

DeleteI generally do not worry about made in the USA. I do however, buy locally her in Utah when I can. My latest find is a family owned business that makes honey and it is the best; I will never buy it at the store again
