Review it Wednesday -- It's Cosmic!

A while back, I asked my daughter, Bethany, if she would like to review another diaper for me (she reviewed the Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted diaper  when her son was a baby). She didn't hesitate when I told her which diaper it was. The diaper was sent to me, free of charge, by Thanks Mama, a natural baby store for thinking parents. And they're not just about cloth diapers. They actually have a wide array of products to choose from. 

Even though Bethany received the diaper for free, it did not color her opinion one way or another. Actually, once you read the review, you'll realize this kind of enthusiasm cannot be manufactured! Here's what she had to say about this ultra cute hybrid (a cross between an AIO and a pocket diaper) being modeled by my ultra handsome grandbaby:

 

 TotsBots Easyfit

I’m so excited to tell you about this diaper I recently was given to review! Honestly, I have been eyeing these diapers up for years!! Those of you who know me, know that I have a wide variety of diapers, so you might be wondering why the TotsBots Easyfit hadn’t made it to my stash sooner. Well, I felt it was more on the pricey side, with a usual price tag around $25.00. Most of my stash consists of diapers ranging from $15-19 and I just didn’t know if I wanted to wander into that next price point. But now that I’ve had a chance to try it out, let me tell you what my thoughts are about it.

The Easyfit is a one size - birth to potty (8-35lbs) - diaper. It has a waterproof outer shell, which means it doesn’t need a cover.  The PUL on this diaper is the softest waterproof fabric I have ever felt! The inner is also the plushest stay-soft interior I own.  With very stretchy fabric, the diaper wraps around your baby for a great fit.  

Speaking of fit, I found it to be quite slim-fitting compared to some other brands of pocket diapers. The other fabulous thing about it is the insert is attached, so no stuffing clean diapers! I never knew that it bothered me to dig through the wash basket trying to match up inserts with shells until I got spoiled by this one diaper! It’s awesome to just grab the diaper and stick the insert right in. It’s like having an AIO (all in one), but it dries MUCH faster and you can stuff extra inserts in for more absorption, which was another big test… night time. We usually have to double stuff our pockets for nighttime wear and, depending on the night, he may or may not leak through.  

Well, let me tell you that this diaper holds up! No leaks!! So, here is my new dilemma: I want to save this one for night use, but then I have the problem of it being so cute that I want to show it off during the day! I love this cosmic print! 

The TotsBots Easyfit diapers also come in fabulous bright colors, as well as other prints, including some newly released adorable new prints. You can purchase the diaper with hook and loop (Velcro) or snaps. I’ve always been a big fan of Velcro but as my little guy got to be not-so-little, I’ve grown fonder of using snaps. They seem to hold up to all the washing better and Linc can’t get the snaps off himself. I wasn’t excited about getting a new diaper with Velcro, but I must say it has been much better than expected.  This hook and loop seems stickier than others we have tried in the past.  

So the verdict is… I’m super in love, and in big trouble, because with my next baby I want a whole new stash of TotsBots!!! Sounds like the perfect gift from a green grandma, don’t you think?
