I got to know one of the sponsors of my giveaway personally a couple of years ago. Adam, from Happy Baby Company (another sponsor), told me I should check out her blog. What he didn't tell me was that Jen was a fellow Pittsburgher. I didn't discover that until months later when I saw someone I knew post something on her Facebook page.
"How do you know Jen?" I asked.

Small world. It turns out we had a slew of mutual friends. And Jen and I became mutual admirers. Not only did I enjoy reading her blog, but I discovered her artistic talent as well.
