Last chance to enter!

Picture from the Leaf & Bud Naturals website

Well, this evening the winner of our first blogiversary giveaway will be chosen! Will it be you? Not if you haven't entered yet. Entering is fun and easy...just check out Monday's blog to find out how to enter.

I just love the prizes that have been donated! And the companies and individuals who chose to participate are at the top of favorites list!

For instance, Leaf & Bud Naturals, a Canadian company, is donating a luscious 100% natural lip glossLeaf & Bud Naturals has a really cool website where you can learn a lot about why you should choose natural skin care products and avoid the toxins found in most commercial products. I love how they boldly state that you don't need to read the label...they've already done it for you!

Here are the details about the lip gloss from their website:

100% Natural lip glosses made with 83% Vitamin E from organic rice bran and beautiful colors from fruit pigments. Vitamin E is a powerful anti-aging antioxidant that drenches your lips with moisture and deeply softens.

A true beauty breakthrough! 100% Pure makes the first and only cosmetics colored from antioxidant rich fruit and vegetable pigments. While other color cosmetics are colored with either synthetic dyes or minerals, only 100% Pure color cosmetics are colored with fruit & vegetable pigments (patents pending)! All the antioxidants and vitamins in fruits are in the actual color, so you will be applying all the healthy nutrients of the fruits directly on your skin!

Product Features

no synthetic dyes, artificial fragrances or parabens
• no synthetic chemicals, petro-chemicals or any other toxins.
• Enriched with vitamins c & E
• 100% Natural
• 100% Vegetarian
• Gluten Free

Another company from Canada is participating in the giveaway as well. While I've never met Jill Wirth from Green Baby Clothing Company, we've become 'virtual' friends due to our mutual commitment to products that are safe for both children and the environment. I enjoy our regular communication via our Facebook walls.

Jill is donating a sweet little pair of bamboo yoga pants (0-3 mos.)  According to the website: These easy pull-on 100% bamboo baby pants are made of super soft, durable bamboo interlock. Covered elastic waistband and contrast stitching provide the best in style and comfort.

An organic cotton onesie (0-6 mos.) will be part of the package as well: Our 100% certified organic tees are of high-quality combed, ring-spun yarn and are dyed with eco-friendly low-impact dyes. Our cotton is first carded, and then combed, which removes short fibers and impurities. This means you get a superior product that is stronger and softer. We also use ring-spun NOT open-ended yarn. Ring-spinning twists longer fibers continuously which creates a softer, stronger and more durable yarn. This lends extra softness, a nice drape and better color retention.

•100% Organic Cotton
•Made in Fair Trade Facility
•Dyed with eco-friendly, low-impact dyes
•Quality stitching
•Enzyme washed for extra softness

Thanks, Jill! A little one out there is going to look even more adorable, thanks to you!

As they say on the lottery commercials, "You've got to play to win!" So play! I'll announce the winner tonight. Contest ends at 5 p.m. EST.

Keeping it green,

Hana
